Position Overview We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Mortgage Loan Processor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving loans efficiently from application to closing while maintaining precision, compliance, and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

Loan File Review & Intake

Review new loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with program and investor requirements. Ensure seamless data entry and updates within internal systems to maintain pipeline integrity.

Documentation & Verification

Collect, verify, and analyze borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, and property data) with a focus on identifying risks early. Order, track, and manage third-party services such as appraisals, title, verifications of employment, and flood certifications with urgency and accuracy. Proactively resolve documentation discrepancies by collaborating with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters to maintain smooth file flow.

Pipeline & File Management

Own a pipeline of multiple active loans, ensuring files progress on schedule and meet all milestones without delays. Deliver clean, complete, and accurate loan packages to underwriting ahead of deadlines. Provide consistent, proactive communication and updates to loan officers, underwriters, and closers, fostering strong cross-department relationships.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Uphold strict compliance standards, ensuring all files meet federal, state, investor, and company guidelines. Prepare files for closing by verifying and clearing all conditions, guaranteeing a smooth and timely closing experience.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of proven success as a mortgage loan processor or in a related mortgage operations role. Knowledge: Deep understanding of Conventional and Non-QM lending guidelines, with a proven ability to navigate complex loan scenarios. Skills:

Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of handling high-volume pipelines without compromising quality. Advanced time management and prioritization capabilities to consistently meet or beat deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear, professional interactions with borrowers, internal teams, and external partners. Proficiency with loan origination and processing systems (e.g., Empower, Encompass, Optimal Blue) preferred.
