Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant / Laser Technician & Office Administrative Assistant to join our team in Truckee. This unique role blends clinical support with administrative responsibilities, offering variety and growth in a dynamic practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, compassionate, and excited to be part of a patient-centered team.

Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Assist with patient intake, education, charting
• Prepare rooms and equipment for procedures
• Support physician during exams and procedures
• Operate and manage MLS laser therapy treatments (training provided)
• Maintain clinical supplies, ordering, and ensure cleanliness/sterility

Administrative Duties

• Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage calendars, schedules and emails
• Coordinate patient communications, forms, and records
• Process billing, referrals, and some insurance paperwork
• Provide general office support and help keep operations running smoothly including help with social media and marketing

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting preferred (will train the right candidate)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Comfort with computers, electronic medical records, and scheduling systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or prior laser therapy experience a plus, but not required
