IT Procurement Manager For a prominent global law firm client. This role can be based out of the DC or NYC office. This significant role is responsible for managing acquisition of technology goods/services for the firm. The ideal candidate has proven success in researching potential vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance supporting technology infrastructure firm wide.
Duties: Evaluate/choose vendors based on cost/reliability for IT hardware and software services. Maintain relationships with key technology suppliers/service providers. Manage vendor onboarding and performance improvement initiatives. Collaborate with internal vendor management team and IT leadership on negotiations with suppliers. Conduct business reviews with strategic vendors. Manage procurement records. Manage software license keys. Balance leasing invoices. Manage end of lease return and capital assets, life cycle workflow, and reporting. Utilize ServiceNow ticketing to process and track new purchases and inventory.
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree. Must have at least five years of experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or vendor management. Professional services or law firm experience preferred. Past experience in analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, evaluating risks, to make data-driven decisions. Prior experience in negotiating favorable terms and achieving cost savings with technology vendors. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Significant understanding of IT hardware, software, cloud services, and industry trends. Proficiency with procurement systems, data analytics tools, and advanced Excel skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities. Strong understanding of supply agreements, contractual terms, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Salary range is $150k -$175k commensurate with experience.
