Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will report to the Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and will work closely with HR colleagues. The HR Coordinator acts as a dynamic partner, taking on new tasks and opportunities to learn as they arise.
Responsibilities
- RECRUITMENT: Partner with Manager, HRBP and Talent Acquisition Partner on recruitment, support of applicant tracking, diverse recruitment, employment brand on external career sites, candidate selection, and coordination with internal stakeholders and candidates.
- Assist Talent Acquisition Partner with administration of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); maintain accurate and timely job postings.
- ONBOARDING: Prepare paperwork and schedules for seamless new-hire onboarding; coordinate with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience; conduct new hire orientation; ensure new hires are informed of ESRT’s policies, procedures, programs, and benefits on their first day; coordinate IT setup; schedule 30- and 60-day check-ins; coordinate seating and desk moves; complete Forms I-9 and maintain I-9 files; prepare new employee files; drive improvements to onboarding based on feedback.
- ENGAGEMENT: Plan and execute employee appreciation and engagement programs; support ESRT volunteer programs and internship programs; manage HR Communication mailbox and provide excellent customer service; act as a culture carrier for ESRT.
- DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING: Manage internal training programs, coordinate communications about trainings, and compile training reports to ensure compliance.
- RETENTION: Support employee surveys, compile results, and distribute internal communications.
- OFFBOARDING: Maintain confidentiality during terminations; assist in asset recovery and revoke system access; complete termination paperwork and exit surveys/interviews as applicable; ensure data accuracy and compliance in HRIS.
- HRIS & Reporting: Own and manage HRIS, maintain employee files, organizational charts, and electronic documents; produce and distribute HR reports; ensure data confidentiality and integrity.

- Experience with various Human Capital Management platforms
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
- One to three years in corporate HR-related experience
- SHRM-CP credential desirable
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a desk
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally

$65,000 - $75,000 a year. Salary is based on several factors including education, experience, location, and/or certifications. ESRT provides discretionary annual bonuses.
