• Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer's return visit.
• Treat customers and coworkers in a fair and ethical manner, promoting an inclusive work environment.
• Provide the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Excellent customer service skills
• Desired: Any previous comparable experience
• Ability to create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products sold within the department and store
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions and suggestions
• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to achieve store goals
• Prepare beverage selections to recipe and standards; process transactions using company practices
• Offer product samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials
• Provide fresh products and accurate portion sizes to prevent shrink
• Recommend coffee shop items to meet customer needs
• Use kitchen equipment (espresso machine, blender, etc.) per guidelines; label, stock and inventory merchandise
• Check product quality and sell-by dates; take appropriate action
• Follow safety regulations and identify unsafe conditions
• Maintain equipment and report repairs as needed
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues
• Provide support and assistance to diverse customers, including minors and individuals with special needs
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
