Role: Business Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH (Local Candidates only)

Duration: 12 months

Pay Rate: $60/hr on C2C

Client: Ardent Technologies Inc / Department of Administrative Services (State of Ohio)

Key Responsibilities and Scope of Activities:

1. Facilitate understanding and agreement on organizational work models for information exchange to support decision-making and develop integrated eligibility approaches for defining key business requirements.
2. Lead and participate in multi-organizational teams to determine, articulate, and document workflows, use cases, data models, and requirements.
3. Contribute to enterprise architecture activities, including systems design, business and information architecture, and technical architecture.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 10 years in business process design.
• Understanding of program, policy, and operational functions within state and local government health and human services (preferred).
• Experience with Health and Human Services (preferred).
• Expertise in designing and constructing business processes, workflows, use cases, and organizational structures.
• Ability to translate technical terminology to business stakeholders and vice versa.
• Experience in health and human services process redesign (preferred).
• Knowledge of business process management, workflows, and integration tools.
• Experience with redesign methods like business process reengineering, Six Sigma, or TQM.
• Strong facilitation and change management skills.
• Ability to build trust with stakeholders, especially in HHS.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related fields; MBA or MPA preferred.
