Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification for a hospital-based assignment. Responsibilities Work in both inpatient and outpatient MRI settings Perform a variety of scans including brain perfusion, functional, spectroscopy; body enterography, defecography, musculoskeletal; breast imaging and biopsy; spine Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday Weekend call required from Friday to Sunday every 4-6 weeks Must be available to work selected major holidays according to contract duration Duties include performing advanced MRI scans such as perfusion, spectroscopy, enterography, and breast biopsies Pre-employment educational modules must be completed before starting assignment All clinicians are limited to one year of work as a traveler and must take a six-month break before returning Holiday coverage is mandatory as outlined and no exceptions are made Requirements Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience required Active ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required Must be able to provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years License required if applicable Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility to qualify as travelers Must be clean shaven for FIT testing and OSHA respirator clearance prior to start Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-602057.
