Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Technical Analyst to support enterprise telephony initiatives within one of our Healthcare Clients based in OKC, Oklahoma. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that communication systems align with clinical workflows, enhance the patient and provider experience, and meet compliance standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, excellent documentation skills, and a patient-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with clinical, administrative, and support departments to gather and document current telephony use cases and communication workflows.
- Analyze departmental needs and recommend improvements that enhance the patient and caregiver experience using modern telephony solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to help develop and maintain a configuration database for deployment across healthcare facilities.
- Design and document call flows, IVR prompts, and caller input structures tailored for healthcare-specific functions (e.g., appointment scheduling, nurse triage, emergency routing).
- Create detailed floor plans and device deployment maps to support structured rollouts of phone systems in clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Work closely with project management, IT, and clinical informatics to align technology solutions with healthcare compliance, privacy, and safety standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Support training and change management initiatives by providing clear, accurate user documentation and contributing to end-user onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience as a technical analyst, preferably within a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Familiarity with healthcare workflows and terminology, including understanding of patient communication needs and regulatory requirements.
- Experience documenting technical processes and workflows using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert user needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working across clinical and technical teams.
- Knowledge of telephony systems, VoIP platforms, or unified communications in a healthcare environment is a plus.
Work Environment:
This position is based in Oklahoma City and will involve on-site visits to clinics, hospitals, and administrative departments to support project needs and user engagement.
