IP Specialist

You'll be the catalyst that coordinates with our internal heroes, outside legal champions, and global IP offices, ensuring our IP filings, maintenance, and enforcement are as precise and timely as a lightning bolt. The impact you'll make: Work closely with in-house counsel to manage the Company's worldwide trademark, copyright, domain name and patent portfolios, including collecting in-house information and documents to support IP filings. Assist in reviewing and finalizing various documents, including declarations and Power of Attorneys (POA's). Review and flag watch notices and assist in opposition/cancellation proceedings. Conduct comprehensive trademark clearance searches, including analysis of search results, identification of potential conflicts, and providing actionable recommendations. Coordinate with outside counsel and trademark offices. Maintain and update IP databases and docketing systems. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely responses to office actions and renewals. Other duties and projects as assigned. Who you are: Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Law, Business, Intellectual Property or related field of study Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in IP administration Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in a corporate legal department or large law firm. Computer Skills Desired: Highly skilled with various computer software, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Concur, iManage. Familiarity with Unites States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and international IP systems. Preferred Certifications: Notary Public preferred Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: N/A Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $73,800 - $98,400. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
