Production Planner
Develop and maintain an accurate production schedule that aligns with customer demands and factory capacity. Coordinate with operations, and supply chain teams to communicate and track daily production schedules. Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), focusing on Customer On-Time Delivery (OTD), inventory levels, and factory efficiency. Communicate capacity constraints and material availability to Department Managers to align work orders with operational capabilities. Implement Lean practices to maximize the value delivered to customers and eliminate waste. Support Lean and Kaizen initiatives to optimize material flow, factory layout, and production efficiency. Facilitate monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings with cross-functional teams. Lead process improvement initiatives for demand planning, inventory optimization, scheduling accuracy, and forecasting accuracy. Oversee the timely issuance and management of Work Orders (WOs). Provide clear communication of operational plans, capacity, and performance metrics to all relevant stakeholders. Build long-term production plans using data analytics to ensure material flow and production optimization. Familiarity with Push and Pull supply chain models, manufacturing principles, and their impact on scheduling and operations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on deadlines and goals. Experience implementing Lean principles to improve efficiency and eliminate waste in production processes. Ensuring production schedules meet customer delivery expectations, contributing to high customer satisfaction. A mindset for continuous improvement to identify and execute scheduling, inventory, and workflow enhancements. Intermediate Level The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
