Job Requirements: Job Location: Oconomowoc, WI Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: 1st shift (M-F 7a-3:30p) Job Summary: Prepares domestic and international shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications. Receives all incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and returned goods. Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receives incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and returned goods. Notes any visible damage on delivery receipts. Checks received goods against purchase orders or receiving papers. Verifies quantity, type, size, part number, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materials. Prepares packing slips (shippers) for all outbound customers. Creates commercial invoices for international shipments using the Ace Secure Data Portal. Operates forklift for sheet stock removal and movement of materials and inventory. Accurately enters transactions into computer system, maintains records, and prepares receiving and shipping documents and reports. Unpacks incoming parts and accurately enters repair and overhaul orders into the ERP system if applicable. Performs computer transactions using customer specified shipping systems. Prepares shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications. Works to ensure that product is in excellent condition when it arrives at its destination. Schedules transportation carrier pickups. Assists with the loading and unloading of trucks. Routes or delivers materials to storage areas and manufacturing locations, often operating a forklift or hand lift. Conducts physical inventory counts and verifies bin locations. Ensures we have the consumables needed for shipment. Pulls and delivers tooling for internal customers. Issues and delivers material to the shop floor promptly. Issues tools, tool kits, and equipment to workers. Maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of insert types and tooling used in machining operations. Prepares periodic inventory and maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment. Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment. Requisitions stock to replenish inventory. Inspects tools and equipment for defects or wear and reports concerns to supervisors. Keeps tool storage area sufficiently stocked, well organized, and efficient. Marks and identifies tools and equipment. Sharpens used drill bits to usable specifications. In coordination with Maintenance Department, performs preventive maintenance on Shipping/Receiving equipment. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity with Ace Precision.
