Technical Curriculum Architect
Customers are rapidly adopting AWS as a way to build scalable and cost-effective web and IT solutions for their businesses. To do that effectively, they need training to help build their technical skills and develop proficiency with AWS. AWS Training & Certification is developing highly technical courses with hands-on labs, e-learning content that can be accessed 24x7, and instructor-led trainings that get customers deep into AWS technologies. Are you interested in sharing your cloud domain expertise and spreading your passion for these technologies with other technology enthusiasts? Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training and Certification is looking for cloud technologists with a desire to build engaging technical training on AWS services. Our Technical Curriculum Architects will have excellent training skills, strong technical domain expertise, and the ability to translate technical content into easy-to-understand learning. Additionally, our ideal candidates will have training or technical documentation experience, and above all, a passion for learning. Key job responsibilities: Dive into AWS technologies and solutions, covering domains such as AI/ML, Containers, Serverless, Cloud Operations, and Developing, to understand the services and develop effective training for our AWS customers. Work with audience representatives to understand training needs and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts across AWS (including Developers, Support Engineers, Professional Services, and Solutions Architects) to build technically accurate training. Be a key influencer on how AWS educates customers on services and features by building relationships with service teams to shape content, or facilitating requirements gathering sessions to define innovations on how training is absorbed. A day in the life: Meet with the project team, build detailed design documents for curriculum learning products, and provide technical SME expertise. Innovate on new ways to improve training and deliver content more quickly. Provide strategies to maintain the curriculum objects to stay up to date with the market/technical trends. About the team: AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help our customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. You'll join a diverse team of technical experts in dozens of countries who help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud. About AWS: Diverse Experiences AWS values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the preferred qualifications and skills listed in the job description, we encourage candidates to apply. If your career is just starting, hasn't followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don't let it stop you from applying. Inclusive Team Culture Here at AWS, it's in our nature to learn and be curious. Our employee-led affinity groups foster a culture of inclusion that empower us to be proud of our differences. Ongoing events and learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences, inspire us to never stop embracing our uniqueness. Mentorship & Career Growth We're continuously raising our performance bar as we strive to become Earth's Best Employer. That's why you'll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.
