Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic IR team, requiring ARRT and BLS certification. Responsibilities Position is based in an inpatient and outpatient Interventional Radiology department The department has 4 angio suites, 1 CT suite, and 1 pain clinic Role requires experience with neuro and peripheral interventions Works four 10-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off Possible weekend coverage is required On-call responsibilities include one primary call per week and one primary call weekend per month with a 30-minute callback time Duties include performing interventional radiology procedures in neuro and peripheral patient populations Travelers must be willing to work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, or two holidays during the winter holiday period Local candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility address are not accepted Return travelers must have a minimum one-year break since last employment at the facility Facility policy limits travel assignments to a total of 365 days, regardless of separation period, with exceptions reviewed on a case-by-case basis Orientation modules are provided, with completion possible pre-start or during orientation Two professional references are required for consideration Requirements Current ARRT registration in either CV or VI (VI preferred) BLS (AHA) certification required Completion of an approved School of Radiologic Technology required Graduate of an approved School of Interventional Radiology preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Virginia state license preferred; any state license (in hand or applied for) accepted, with emergency authorization available for those awaiting VA license Experience in neuro and peripheral vascular interventions is required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-604365.
