The Information Technology Audit team at Aramark strives to optimize governance, risk management, and control processes through assessment of internal controls over information systems and data. This hybrid role blends traditional technology audit responsibilities with hands-on data analytics to enhance audit coverage, automate procedures, and deliver actionable insights. The Technology Analyst will perform audits with an emphasis on evaluating financial systems, cybersecurity, IT operations, and systems development while writing analytic code, executing data-driven procedures, and building dashboards that support audit objectives. This role contributes to audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting, and plays a key part in expanding the use of analytics. This position requires the ability and willingness to travel up to 5% of the time with potential international travel. Job Responsibilities: Perform audit work efficiently and effectively in accordance with established audit programs, while integrating analytics to enhance coverage and precision. Document audit procedures and analytic logic clearly, adhering to department workpaper standards and ensuring reproducibility. Assist in drafting clear and concise audit reports, verifying that findings are supported by both control testing and data analysis. Review company processes and controls against industry frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, COSO), identifying gaps in design and execution. Build dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Domo, or Qlik to communicate findings and trends to audit teams and stakeholders. Write SQL and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze data from enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle EDW, SAP). Support investigations and special projects by providing targeted analytics, anomaly detection, and forensic insights. Continue developing knowledge across technical environments, platforms, applications, and tools including data warehousing and structuring principles. Act as a valued business advisor, building relationships and communicating effectively with internal clients, audit teams, and external auditors. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. 0 to 3 years of experience in Technology Audit, Financial Audit, or Data Analytics in public accounting, consulting, internal audit, or in a data analytics-focused role. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across levels without formal authority. Proficient in at least one coding language (e.g., SQL, Python, JavaScript) with experience developing and optimizing scripts for data analysis. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. The ability to translate technical findings into plain English. CISA certification or an interest in working towards a CISA certification or other relevant credentials. Preferred Experience/Familiarity: IT general control areas such as change management, logical access, and computer operations. Oracle Financials, Linux/Windows Server, and Oracle databases. Application interfaces, systems development methodologies, and infrastructure. COBIT, COSO, NIST, and SOX 404 requirements related to IT systems, processes, data, and testing. Power BI, Power Automate, Domo, or Qlik for dashboard creation and data storytelling. Python, JavaScript, and SQL. Data warehousing architecture, including fact/dimension modeling and ETL processes.
