*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry and specialized skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
* Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
* Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
* Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
* Manage patient interactions with empathy and professionalism to foster a positive experience.
*Experience*
* A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
* Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
* Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging is essential.
* Experience in performing various dental procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication is highly desirable.
