*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
* Perform various dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, anterior endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
* Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
* Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to provide high-quality patient care.
* Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices.
* Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.
* *Requirements*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state dental license and ability to pass any required background checks.
* Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
* Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with pediatric patients is essential.
* Ability to perform anterior root canal therapy and other advanced procedures effectively.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.
