Board Certified - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
• Locum tenens coverage for specific dates in September through December 2025
• Must have active Missouri medical license - IMLC not accepted due to urgent start
• Friday shifts from 3pm through Monday 8am, including hospital ED/call and clinic call
• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices
• Conduct PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
• Perform esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation
• Conduct small bowel biopsies
• Perform lower GI endoscopy including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
• Complete colonoscopies with biopsy and polyp excision
• Perform liver biopsies
• Manage insertion of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes
• ERCP and EUS are not required for hospital ED/call and clinic call
• Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Fellowship trained with estimated credentialing timeframe of 30-90 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
