Our client is a leading healthcare company with bulk needs for Call Center Representatives local to Fulton, MD. This position is fully remote, with equipment provided, however candidates MUST live within 1-hour of Fulton, MD. An onsite orientation and equipment pickup will take place the week before training starts. Candidates must pass 2 assessments (provided by the recruiter) in order to be submitted.

Details:

  • Availability Required: Mon-Fri 7am-10pm, Sat & Sun 7am-10pm EST
  • 6 month assignment to start, potential to extend or convert based on performance and attendance
  • Pay Rate: Non Bilingual ($19.57 training/$20.60 production) - Bilingual Spanish Speaking(+$1)
  • No time off during training (first 90 days)

Responsibilities:

  • The Membership Services Representative is responsible for the increase in customer satisfaction and retention by providing members, customers, patients and providers with accurate, consistent, timely, and meaningful information.
  • They will provide higher level support to members' inquiries and issues as they utilize the healthcare plan and provider services, continuing to build rapport and collaborative relationships with current and prospective members in accordance with compliance guidelines.
  • They will answer heavy inbound calls, and provide customer support while navigating multiple computer applications.
  • Responds professionally to inquiries from internal/external customers.
  • Promotes, ensures and provides customer service to internal/external customers by demonstrating skills which are consistent with the organization's philosophy of providing extraordinary customer relations and quality service.
  • Initiates contact with the appropriate Health Plan, medical group and facility personnel to obtain information relevant to the concern or inquiry as needed.
  • Evaluates data to determine and implement the appropriate course of action to resolve the complaint and/or coordinate service recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience in a call center/inbound role
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • Must pass a basic computer literacy and customer service assessment (an additional bilingual assessment will be sent to Spanish-speaking candidates)
  • Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check (last 5 years)
