Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of multiple biweekly payrolls across various entities. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Meditech and UKG systems and be adaptable as we prepare to transition to ADP in 2026. This position plays a key role in managing our biweekly payroll operations and supporting a smooth transition to ADP. The successful candidate must be flexible, organized and proactive throughout the transition period and must possess the following qualifications. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees entering all necessary payroll items in the ADP system in a timely & accurate manner Reviews timecards to ensure accuracy and ensure they are approved and signed off Enters all appropriate payroll deductions Processes all PTO payouts and terminates employees in system Reviews payroll register prior to running payroll to ensure accuracy Assists managers with timecard editing when necessary Assist in processing payroll for affiliated small business practices and 1099 Processes employee status changes in ADP system Runs all appropriate payroll reports and saves in appropriate folders Print and prepares check requests for ADP invoices and agencies on a biweekly basis Produce payroll-related reports Prepares letter to employees for rate changes Assist in reconciling cash reports & expense reports Processes all child support and wage garnishments and notifies employee Education and Qualifications

3 years' of payroll experience required; healthcare or multi entity payroll experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now payroll program and Kronos or ADP time and attendance system Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must. Familiarity/experience with union contracts is strongly preferred.
