About this Position We're seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations for a busy department. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the go-to person for information, ensuring smooth communication, and keeping everything running behind the scenes. Job Responsibilities • Organize and implement administrative systems, procedures, and workflows • Serve as the primary source of information for the department or program • Prepare and maintain records related to finance, personnel, students, and operations • Coordinate meetings, events, and use of facilities • Draft, proofread, and edit reports, correspondence, and materials
Job Skills/Requirements • Ability to work independently and manage confidential information • Intermediate to advanced skills in email, calendar, word processing, and spreadsheets • Competent in various office computer software tools • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Prior office or administrative experience required
Additional Information • Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days onsite • 3-6 month contract with possibility of extension • Opportunity to support a mission-driven team in a professional setting • Gain exposure to administrative systems and cross-functional collaboration
Pay Range:
$25-$30/hour
