Shipping And Receiving Clerk
Reporting to the Operation Manager, the Shipping/Receiving Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of our products to customers. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the materials handling and shipping process, including preparing shipping documents, arranging transportation, coordinating with warehouse personnel, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Job Responsibilities
Create shipping documents:
Prepare and check bills of lading, packing lists, and labels to meet legal and customer requirements. Manage shipments:
Schedule pickups and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery. Handle materials:
Safely move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in and out of inventory and into production queues. Track inventory:
Work with warehouse staff to keep inventory accurate through regular checks and system updates. Package and label:
Ensure products are packaged and labeled correctly, following safety rules and customer guidelines. Check quality:
Inspect outgoing shipments for correct quantities and product accuracy. Respond to inquiries:
Provide prompt, professional updates to customers about shipment status and tracking. Resolve issues:
Investigate and fix problems like damaged goods or incorrect shipments by working with carriers, warehouse teams, and customers. Stay compliant:
Keep up with shipping laws, hazardous material rules, and industry standards to reduce risk. Improve processes:
Look for ways to make shipping more efficient and cost-effective. Keep records:
Maintain organized shipping documentation for tracking, audits, and proof of delivery. Qualifications
Forklift experience is necessary Hazmat will be required Shift and Pay
1st shift: 7am - 4pm Pay will range $23-26/hr depending on experience Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
