Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 18 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler seeks an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of Level 1 trauma and cardiovascular procedural experience. Responsibilities Work in a cardiac catheterization lab primarily handling STEMI, CTOs, cardiovascular, peripheral, electrophysiology, and device cases Adult patient population including trauma cases Four 10-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Regular and on-call shifts include 1-2 weeknight shifts and 1-2 weekends per month Floating within clinical scope required to meet facility needs EPIC EMR charting required Primary duties include scrubbing and monitoring a variety of cath lab cases including STEMI, CTO, and electrophysiology procedures Must complete facility-modules online, averaging about 4 hours pre-start First-time travelers are not accepted Maximum of 5 days requested time off per 13-week contract allowed and must be requested up front Candidates must be willing to float to similar units if needed Parking available at a monthly cost of approximately $25 Requirements Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience with Level 1 trauma background required Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA required Must have either ARRT(CI), RCIS, or RCES certification Colorado Fluoroscopy Operator Registration required for RCIS/RCES; not required for ARRT(CI) Skills required to scrub and monitor for STEMIs, CTOs, cardiovascular, peripheral, electrophysiology, and device cases Proficiency with EPIC EMR required Must pass pre-employment drug screen including THC/marijuana License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-607440.
