American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Stockton, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 20 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of peripheral and coronary experience, ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy certification, and Cerner EMR proficiency. Responsibilities Work in an acute care cardiac cath lab with 4 procedure rooms Caseload averages 15-20 cases per day, including STEMI and critically ill patients Day shift position with 4x10 hour shifts and call required On-call includes one night per week and one weekend every sixth week; you will have the day off following call Every other weekend required Uses Siemens and Phillips equipment; experience preferred but not required Procedures involve peripheral and coronary circulations using laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet Cerner EMR experience required No floating required Main duties include assisting cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures Team includes a charge nurse during the day, a circ nurse after hours, and a respiratory therapist available 24/7 24/7 in-house pharmacy and standby cardiologists for patient care Unit orientation includes 1-2 days with 12 hours of orientation provided All required onboarding modules must be completed prior to arrival without exception Scrubs are provided Agency must provide a radiation badge for the traveler Candidates must not have been employed by any CommonSpirit affiliate facility within the last year except PRN through outside agencies Unit is a STEMI receiving center treating numerous STEMIs monthly No first-time travelers accepted Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent cath lab experience with peripheral and coronary circulation cases Current ARRT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy certifications required Active state or compact (NLC) license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable) Experience with Cerner EMR is required Experience with Siemens/Phillips cath lab equipment preferred CRT certification required RCIS certification is not accepted Ability to work with critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license required Two professional references: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-584075.
