Overview Director, Card Partnerships Financial Planning & Analysis Capital One is seeking a culture-led, results-driven, and strategic Director of Partnerships Finance. This role acts as the CFO for four card partnerships programs, leading a team that provides data, analytics, and insights to shape the financial decisions and strategic direction of the business. The Director will develop short- and long-term plans to grow and drive profitability in Partnerships as Capital One builds for the future. Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of associates providing in-depth financial analysis and strategic planning for Capital One Card Partnerships.

Represent Capital One and the Partnerships business in meetings with external partner senior leadership teams.

Coordinate across Capital One's Global Finance teams in support of business partners.

Provide reporting, analysis, and forecasting to facilitate decision making and track performance against operating goals.

Leverage bottoms-up financial forecasts and top-down analysis to drive business decisions.

Synthesize and communicate data-driven insights to advise finance and business leadership on investment prioritization and sequencing aligned to strategic plans.

Partner cross-functionally to assess opportunities and risks to the business trajectory, with a focus on long-term value creation and delivering financial performance.

Communicate and influence effectively at the highest levels of the organization.

Act as a leader in Global Finance, supporting technology, diversity, talent, and process improvement efforts from an enterprise perspective.

Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to investigate industry topics and strategic options; identify trends and draw conclusions from data.

Pursue professional development opportunities and share knowledge with team members.

A successful candidate will have the following experience and skills

Demonstrated leadership capacity and ability to attract, challenge, and develop exceptional talent.

Ability to build and manage financial analyses and develop top-quality storytelling to support strategic initiatives and senior management presentations.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead in highly matrixed environments.

Ability to drive sustainable results on large-scale, cross-functional deliverables.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or other quantitative discipline, or military experience.

At least 5 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.

At least 5 years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance.

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

7+ years of experience in FP&A.

7+ years of experience managing an FP&A function.

7+ years of people management experience including both direct & indirect reports.

7+ years of experience with credit card financial data and analysis.

Ability to build and manage robust financial models within modern infrastructure.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries refer to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting and are for work within the specified locations. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked.

Chicago, IL: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, Financial Management

McLean, VA: $200,100 - $228,400 for Director, Financial Management

Richmond, VA: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, Financial Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary offered will be reflected in the offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
