Overview of Position Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS) JF&CS is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, bilingual Russian-English Administrative Coordinator to join our passionate team as we roll out a new grant this fall. This position is part-time and temporary, working 10-20 hours/week through December 2025. Working in partnership with the Program Director, the BNF Administration Coordinator will communicate directly with Holocaust survivors to answer questions and request documentation, manage the ordering and distribution of grocery gift cards, and oversee all required documentation. JF&CS is home to Schechter Holocaust Services (SHS), Greater Boston’s only program providing Holocaust survivors – the majority of whom are Russian-speaking – with vital services such as home care, food and medicine. These and other services seek to ensure that victims of Nazi persecution can age with dignity while maintaining meaningful connections with one another and with the Jewish community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Communicate with older adults, mostly Russian-speaking, to answer questions and review processes Draft letters to accompany fund distribution, including Russian and English copies Order and distribute gift cards, including use of mail merge to create labels Input data into Claims Conference software Assist with fund distribution follow-up, as necessary. Collaborate with all members of the SHS team and other JF&CS program staff Take on additional duties and projects, as assigned, embracing a dynamic and fulfilling work environment

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Education/Experience

Requirements: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, in English and Russian, required BA/AS degree desired but not required, or at least three years of relevant work experience Confidence in managing Excel spreadsheets and handling financial data Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook, power point), Quickbooks, and other relevant software Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and systems Skills and Competencies: Outstanding organizational and detail skills that will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and reporting data Self-initiated as well as able to work effectively as part of a team Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
