What Your Day Will Consist ofPurchasing Support
Assist with purchasing inventoried items and help track customer commitments.
Process purchase orders accurately and on time by End of Day (EOD).
Confirm order details with vendors and follow up on delivery status, escalating issues as needed.
Monitor and update ERP system for purchase order accuracy and vendor information.
Support the replenishment team by gathering data for purchase decisions.
Procurement Process
Help manage the Supply Chain email inbox by routing requests and responding to routine inquiries.
Ensure correct pricing is applied to purchase orders with guidance from senior team members.
Assist with expediting open orders, prioritizing high-urgency items under supervision.
Support monthly inventory and purchase order reporting.
Relationship Management
Act as a point of contact for Sales/Customer Service, Finance, and Warehouse teams on basic purchasing-related matters.
Communicate professionally with vendors to confirm orders and resolve simple discrepancies.
Keep vendor contact and product data up to date.
Continuous Improvement & Learning
Participate in training to learn Korpack’s purchasing systems, processes, and industry standards.
Provide ideas to improve day-to-day efficiency and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Problem Solving & Communication
Assist with resolving routine billing and shipping issues by working with vendors and internal teams.
Help communicate inventory or supply chain updates to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Experience 1–3 years of prior experience in a purchasing role.
Proven track record of working directly with vendors to gather product/service information and build long-term relationships.
Familiarity with ERP systems for managing vendor data.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
Packaging experience and product knowledge.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn advanced ERP tools.
What Success Looks Like The mission of this role is to support the purchasing process by accurately processing purchase orders, tracking vendor communication, maintaining records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Acting as a procurement facilitator, the Buyer ensures seamless collaboration with vendors, helps identify the best solutions, and maintains internal alignment to secure and grow business opportunities. This role contributes to building strong vendor partnerships, driving operational efficiency, and securing competitive pricing that supports Korpack’s goals of exceptional customer satisfaction, sustainable business growth, and long-term success.
