GC Estimator Position

Top skills:
- 510 years of experience as an estimator in commercial construction, preferably with healthcare and institutional projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, Sage Estimating, or similar)
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, building codes, and market conditions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
Description:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates
- Develop quantity takeoffs and pricing for all scopes of work
- Solicite and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers during preconstruction
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternatives
- Maintain historical cost data and update unit pricing databases
- Participate in bid reviews and presentations to clients
- Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and industry regulations
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00/hr.
