At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for an ED Tech to join our team.
The primary responsibility of the ED Tech is:
Maintains inventory of patient care and unit supplies as deemed appropriate by unit manager
Upon delegation by an RN or paramedic who provides basic, age-appropriate nursing care and treatments for patients to meet psychosocial and physical needs as outlined in the ED Technician department, specific competency-based orientation includes but is not limited to:
Vital signs
Activities of daily living
Equipment
Notification to a RN or Paramedic of any abnormal findings or concerns.
Provides explanation to patient and family prior to administering care to patient and answers questions.
An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
Current LNA licensure in the State of NH or CMA, or EMT
Current BLS
Min:$19.00 Max:$24.38
