Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Data Warehousing)
Location: Seattle, WA New York, NY Boston, MA Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid 3 days onsite) Duration: 6-12+ Months Pay: $00/hr W2 (No Benefits)
Interview: 2 rounds (1 online + 1 in-person)
Eligibility: W2 only Open to US Citizens, Green Card Holders, GC-EAD, and TN Visa holders (C2C not allowed)
Job Description: Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in data warehousing and investment management. This role is highly data-focused and involves engaging with stakeholders around data products, account details, product/security positions, and broader data exchange requirements. The candidate must have strong SQL expertise and experience in financial services to deliver platform-level solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct requirement gathering and analysis, producing clear BRDs/FRDs. Define use cases, operating models, data mappings, and workflows. Work with developers and solution managers to design scalable solutions. Engage directly with data consumers to understand business needs and consumption patterns. Support UAT testing and provide consultation to dev teams/product owners. Manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent requests with independence.
Requirements: 10+ years overall experience, 5 7 years as BA in investment banking/asset management/financial market data. Strong SQL and data warehousing experience. Equities, Fixed Income, Portfolio & Investment Management exposure.
Proven ability to write and manage BRDs/FRDs. Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management. Tools: SQL, Excel, Lucid, Jira; Tableau/Power BI (nice-to-have).
