Description
You will work at any tray assembly station, following proper food-handling and equipment sanitation practices. Keep your work area clean and organized. Present menus to patients, help them choose their meals, and deliver trays according to the diet master list. After service, collect trays, move food carts to the elevator, and deliver snacks as needed. Continue to maintain tray service and follow all sanitation procedures for food service. Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $21.05-25.64/hrQualifications
Experience in food service, including tray assembly and general service duties
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English to match food items with menu selections
Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced tray assembly environment
Able to perform basic math calculations without a calculator
Basic knowledge of a variety of diets
Strong interpersonal skills for working with coworkers, medical staff, patients, supervisors, and managers
Ability to follow the department dress code
Physically able to stand for long periods, stretch, bend, push, walk, lift, and reach repeatedly
Capable of lifting and pushing heavy carts
Willing to attend departmental training sessions
