Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, resolving inquiries related to appointments, insurance, and referrals, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience across healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle high-volume inbound calls, providing patients with general information, scheduling assistance, and support for healthcare services * Review and manage referral requests, confirm referral details, and follow up with patients and providers as needed * Schedule appointments across various departments including imaging, specialty care, and primary care * Assist in triaging patient needs and direct them to appropriate clinical resources or departments * Confirm upcoming appointments and ensure all necessary documentation and referrals are in place * Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations * Resolve patient concerns related to scheduling conflicts, insurance coverage, and service availability Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong customer service and communication skills, with a patient-first approach * Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment * High attention to detail in handling patient information and appointment logistics * Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) * Problem-solving skills to address patient concerns and insurance issues independently * Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across clinical and administrative departments *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
