Responsibilities

• As a Warehouse Associate, you are primarily responsible for the safe and efficient inventory management through accurate receiving, stocking, picking and shipping/delivery of products.
• Utilize RF Scanners and AS400/SAP to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Transport products using hand carts, dollies, and powered industrial equipment.
• Manually load and unload products into/onto platforms, van trailers, flat bed trailers and ocean containers.
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical Demand Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand; use fingers and hands to handle, grasp, manipulate, assemble, and feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, crouch, and kneel; talk and hear; bending at waist.
• The employee is frequently required to stand on hard surfaces for long periods, and occasionally balance.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
• Position requires a considerable amount of lifting, pushing, and pulling; some stooping/bending/twisting and kneeling postures.
• Moderate to heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying capabilities (46-85 lbs.), with occasional very heavy lifting (83-315 lbs). Use lifting aids or partner lifts as required by policy and procedures.
• Manually manipulate, push, and pull up to 322 pounds occasionally to or from a hand cart, pallet, or furniture buck for 2 to 10 feet. Use lifting aids or partner lifts as required by policy and procedures.
• Ability to hold arm and hand steady while working with hand and pneumatic tools.
• Manual dexterity and foot/hand/eye coordination to operate industrial material handling equipment.
• Subject to fluctuating temperatures within the work facility.

Work Environment

You will work near powered industrial trucks and equipment and must wear personal protective equipment as directed and follow all safety, health and environmental rules.

Qualifications

Education

High School or better.

Experience

1-3 years: Warehouse and MHE experience.
