Overview

Senior Human Resources Generalist role with responsibility for partnering with site leadership to identify skill requirements, drive recruitment and selection processes in compliance with Federal & State regulations, and oversee HR programs at the site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with DC leadership to identify skill requirements needed to meet business objectives.
• Drive recruitment, pre-screening, testing, and selection processes in compliance with ADA, FMLA, EEOC, AAP, Title VII, USERRA, E-Verify, OSHA, Privacy Acts, Identity Theft, DOT & FMCSA.
• Extend employment offers and administer orientation for new associates.
• Manage and administer performance management, training and development programs; provide coaching and counseling to align objectives and expectations between supervisors and associates.
• Partner with leaders on planning and executing robust succession planning in line with corporate HR strategy.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures; investigate and resolve conflicts by coaching on HR matters.
• Develop and implement employee relations initiatives including recognition and engagement activities to foster a safe and inclusive working environment and improve retention.
• Assist site leadership with administration of Safety and Compliance Programs; maintain documentation and enforce safety policies.
• Act as a project manager for HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration or related field)
• 3-5 years of HR and leadership partnership experience required
• HR Certification required
• HR management experience within a distribution center/warehouse environment preferred
• Knowledge of employment law required
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality required
