Overview
The HR & LPR Coordinator will be under the direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources and the Director of Recruiting. The individual in this position will provide administrative support to both the HR and Recruiting departments, including scheduling appointments and orientations, maintaining the legal and support staff review process, and assisting with event coordination.
Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Assist interview process with both the Director of HR (staff) and Director of Recruiting (attorneys & paralegals). Includes engaging with external recruiters, attorneys, and managers within the firm, scheduling, feedback follow-up, and tracking of all candidates.
- Law Schools & OCI (On-Campus Interviewing) Process: Register for on-campus interviews, resume collections, and assist with planning and executing employer events during the school year.
- Schedule OCI interviews, callback interviews, and gather and manage interview feedback during the callback process.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure the website is up to date with OCI information.
- Assist with all event planning.
- Assist Director of Recruiting with all aspects of the summer associate program, including onboarding, mentor assignments and communication, social event planning, and managing mid and end of summer reviews. Coordinate communication with candidates for end-of-summer decisions.
- Assist Director of HR in preparing annual surveys and census reports including but not limited to John Hancock, EEO and the ALA.
- With the assistance of the Director of Facilities, arrange office space/cubicles for all new hires in Cleveland and ensure that offices and cubicles are cleaned and stocked with the appropriate supplies.
- With assistance from the Director of HR, coordinate all attorney and paralegal orientations.
- Process all recruiting-related expenses such as payments to law schools, hotel bills, stipends, and moving expenses through Emburse.
- Assist with mid-year and year-end legal personnel review process, including sending out and collecting forms, collating data, and scheduling evaluations.
- Assist HR & Recruiting Departments on special projects as needed and basic administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of related experience.
- Law firm or professional services recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, sound judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Proficient knowledge of firm software and hardware, including Outlook, Word, Excel, 3E, and OneDrive. Appropriate training will be provided.
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints; strong organizational skills.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and follow the instruction effectively from a diverse group of attorneys and staff and provide information with courtesy and tact.
- Work occasionally requires a high level of mental effort when performing a high volume of clerical tasks and performing other essential duties.
- Work occasionally requires more than 37.5 hours per week – This is a non-exempt position, and the individual is eligible for overtime pay.
