Job Functions
- Lead the day-to-day human resources functions and ensure that foundational support is being provided to leaders and employees.
- Responsible for leading the People Operations team to implement talent management and development, workforce planning, employee experience, benefits and compensation programs and strategies.
- Collaborate with business leaders to drive the development and implementation of HR strategies to support the organization’s goals and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with other internal HR functions to develop, design, and implement cross-functional initiatives in the areas of talent acquisition and Learning & Development.
- Oversee the employee relations process and conduct thorough investigations to address employee concerns or complaints.
- Support leaders with performance management concerns and assist in progressive discipline and Performance Improvement Plan processes.
- Project manage multiple HR projects in areas such as process improvement, career development, compensation, employee experience, and onboarding.
- Recommend and champion new initiatives to improve the employee experience.
- Participate in the strategy, design, implementation, and management of internal compensation programs.
- Create and update policies and procedures, as necessary.
- Support and assist in execution of talent retention initiatives through progressive HR practices, leveraging key metrics and internal/external analysis.
- Partner with marketing to develop effective and thorough internal communication strategies.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, best practices, and processes.
- 2+ years of HR leadership experience
- HR generalist work experience in a corporate setting with a process improvement mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trust, credibility, and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic while possessing executive presence.
- Proven ability to be hands-on and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results orientation with a learning mindset for continuous improvement.
- Effective communication skills and function as a change agent to the business and implement processes and approaches which prepare leaders for ongoing change and transformation.
- Collaborative approach in working with others in a diverse, inclusive organization.
- Strong business acumen.
