Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support day-to-day HR functions across the employee lifecycle. In this highly administrative role, you’ll collaborate closely with HR, payroll, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations, from onboarding new hires to supporting performance reviews and processing payroll changes.
Key Responsibilities
HR & Employee Support
- Prepare offer letters, maintain organizational charts, and process employee changes
- Draft internal HR communications and assist with onboarding and orientation logistics
- Serve as a backup to the front desk and help manage general inquiries
Payroll & Timekeeping
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and updates in Paycom
- Track timekeeping data and coordinate changes related to compensation, promotions, or transfers
- Generate reports and ensure data accuracy across systems
Performance & Development Programs
- Coordinate employee review cycles, training reminders, and related communications
- Track completion status and ensure timely execution of performance and compensation changes
- Manage LMS content, assign trainings, and monitor progress
People Programs & Event Logistics
- Support planning and logistics for company-wide events, forums, and recognition programs
- Help ensure compliance with internal processes, SOPs, and emergency protocols
- Coordinate meeting logistics and other people-focused projects
Administrative Support
- Process travel and expense reimbursements
- Distribute mail and provide occasional front-office coverage
- Maintain calendars, meeting invites, and other operational tools
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in HR
- Solid understanding of HR administrative processes and systems (especially Paycom)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize independently
- A service mindset with discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and supporting both routine and ad-hoc needs
Preferred Tools & Tech
- HRIS/Payroll: Paycom or similar platforms
- LMS systems
- Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Microsoft Lists
Please note this position is contract to hire and candidates should be able to start Monday, September 22nd
