Title: Dental Assistant

Location: New York, NY (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full Time, Mon-Fri: 08:00am-04:00pm; Mon and Wed: 10:00am-06:00pm; Sat Rotation 2x a month: 08:00am-04:00pm

Compensation: Salary: $24.00-$27.00 Per HR

Description

• Assist in providing comprehensive care to patients in various health settings.
• Support dental procedures under practitioner supervision.
• Engage in community health initiatives.
• Maintain clean and organized treatment areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist dentist during exams and treatments.
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed.
• Record patient information and treatment notes accurately.
• Provide patients with post-procedure instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification from a Dental Assistant Program.
• CPR Certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Commitment to improving healthcare in East Harlem.
