The Foehr Group is looking for a Dental Assistant in Bloomington, Illinois to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Compensation for this role is $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
- Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies by supporting CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency contact procedures.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
- High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
