Client Service Associate-New Jersey Location:
Remote (Must reside within 30 miles of New Brunswick, NJ – preferred locations: Red Bank, Woodbridge, Jersey City, Hoboken, Hackensack) *This role is remote to start, however will transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week) within 6–12 months. About the Role We are seeking a
Client Service Associate (CSA)
to join a growing wealth management practice with $150M AUM. This is a client-facing, service-focused position supporting a team that primarily serves clients virtually. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in financial services operations, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Account Administration:
Open new accounts, process account maintenance requests (beneficiary changes, bank linking, cash requests), and ensure accurate documentation for compliance. Client Communication:
Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone and email. Provide exceptional service, answering questions and resolving issues promptly. Meeting Support:
Schedule client investment reviews, prepare reports, and assist with follow-up actions. Operational Tasks:
Process RMDs (Required Minimum Distributions), coordinate money movements, and maintain accurate client records in Wealthbox CRM. Team Support:
Assist additional advisor teams as needed and collaborate closely with internal partners to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Experience:
2+ years of experience in a financial services, brokerage, or banking environment. Direct experience with Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, or similar platforms is highly preferred. Knowledge Base:
Strong understanding of brokerage account types (e.g., IRAs, Trusts, Joint Accounts) and basic investment operations. Technical Skills:
Experience with CRMs (Wealthbox experience a plus); familiarity with Black Diamond portfolio reporting software preferred. Soft Skills: Professional, approachable, and proactive communicator. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Flexible and willing to support multiple teams when needed. Education:
Degree in finance or related field preferred, but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated. Licensing:
