Novocure is pioneering cancer treatment through Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) and is seeking a
Director, Brand Counsel
to join our Legal team. In this role, you'll provide legal advice and counsel on regulatory, compliance, and commercial matters, supporting both current in-market brands and future pipeline indications. You will work closely with internal clients across business units, requiring confidence, independence, and the ability to adapt quickly to new subject areas. Key Responsibilities: Advise on regulatory, compliance, and commercial issues related to medical devices
Review product labeling, promotional, and educational materials for FDA compliance
Collaborate with Compliance to ensure adherence to healthcare laws and industry standards
Counsel on FDA regulatory and clinical affairs matters
Provide training on labeling, reimbursement, compliance, and FDA regulatory requirements
Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of contracts including sponsorship, research, consulting, and software agreements
Support US business unit activities while engaging with global functions as needed
What You Bring:
JD and admission to a relevant jurisdiction bar (or eligibility for PA in-house counsel license)
7+ years of corporate/commercial legal experience in a law firm or in-house role
Experience supporting medical device or pharmaceutical organizations strongly preferred
Prior experience as legal counsel in promotional review committees
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, including fraud & abuse laws (Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to assess and mitigate organizational risks
Experience supporting product launches highly desirable
Strong communication skills, business acumen, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
