Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Software Developer
to utilize scripts to automate and integrate applications in Okta SSO. This role is responsible for gathering technical and business requirements for system integration with Okta, and designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that enhance security, efficiency, and scalability. Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for system integration involving Okta. Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and integration. Design and implement automation solutions using scripting, APIs, and Okta Workflows to improve identity and access management processes. Integrate various enterprise systems with Okta (e.g., HR systems, SaaS platforms, internal tools). Maintain and support Okta configurations, policies, and lifecycle management tools. Ensure integration solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integrations and automation workflows. Develop technical documentation and standard operating procedures. Stay current with industry trends and Okta platform updates to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications
Required: Proven experience with scripting languages for automation such as Python, IAC (Infrastructure As Code), PowerShell, Bash etc.) Experience implementing automation and performing data ETL via APIs and scripting and automation tools. Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred: A strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts. Experience with Okta Workflows, SCIM provisioning, or SAML/OIDC integrations. Background in systems engineering, DevOps, or enterprise IT. Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Workday, Jira, or similar platforms. Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of relevant experience in system integration and/or automation development, with a focus on Okta. Seniority level
