120 N OAK ST, Hinsdale, 60521 The role youll contribute: Perform a wide range of technical skills during diagnostic cardiovascular, electrophysiology, or interventional radiology procedures to ensure efficient, safe, and comfortable patient examinations. This includes angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring, adhering to departmental and hospital policies, and following professional practice standards. The role also involves providing excellent customer service and maintaining respectful relationships with all individuals. The value youll bring to the team: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral interventions. Verify orders, facilitate implementation, and communicate with physicians as needed. Administer treatments and medications, evaluating their effectiveness. Respond appropriately in clinical emergencies within your scope of practice. Maintain and operate equipment and supplies for procedures, ensuring proper setup and sterilization. Produce accurate medical records based on the procedures and patient conditions. Train and supervise new personnel, providing ongoing education. Participate in quality and performance improvement activities. Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate and secure medical documentation. Demonstrate leadership and cross-functional abilities within the team. Respond to scheduled emergency calls promptly. Other duties as assigned. The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed: - Bachelor's degree preferred - At least one year of relevant work experience - Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation - Knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy - Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring - Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Familiarity with healthcare concepts, practices, and procedures - Ability to monitor blood pressure, ECG, and pulse oximetry with clinical equipment - Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office - Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English - Knowledge of electrophysiology, interventional radiology, peripheral and interventional cardiology procedures - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and relevant professional credentials (RN, RTR, ARRT, RCIS, RCES, CVIT) Job
