This defined retirement benefit requires a 12% monthly contribution rate and includes a 100% employer match on Day 1 Learn more at Work With Us | Maricopa County, AZ We Require One year of related experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis Must successfully complete the next scheduled Secretary of State Election Certification Must be eligible to vote in Arizona Must successfully complete a background screening Job Contributions Designing and Developing Software Solutions: actively design, program, implement, and maintain application software systems, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms and applications. Troubleshooting and Optimizing Applications: diagnose and resolve programming problems, identify root causes of issues, and implement effective solutions; develop and implement modifications to enhance existing applications. Creating and Maintaining Essential Documentation: develop and maintain clear operating procedures, disaster recovery plans, and comprehensive training and instructional documentation to empower users and ensure system resilience. Providing User Training and Support: train users on the effective operation of applications, ensuring they can leverage our systems to their full potential. Analyzing Needs and Driving Improvements: review departmental needs and user requests, translating them into detailed specifications for program changes, bug fixes, system enhancements, and new program development. Optimizing Workflows and Implementing Automation: evaluate existing workflows and methods, recommending and implementing appropriate automated systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. Participating in On-Call Support: provide essential on-call support for production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption. Contributing to Team Success: perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.
