Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Work night shifts Monday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM (4x10 hour shifts)
• Block schedule required with guaranteed hours
• No floating between units required
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Work independently as sole CT/Radiology technologist during night hours
• Patient ratio of 1:1 with daily census of 8-10 patients
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• New Mexico license required (compact license accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R
• Epic charting system experience required
• 80 hours of orientation provided
• Must be comfortable working with all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Equipment includes Siemens Somatom.go.top 128, GE x-ray rooms, and GE portable units
• Perform various CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head with and without contrast
• Handle musculoskeletal trauma, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging
• Responsible for contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Navy scrubs required for all RNs
• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces
