Opportunity:
RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (5x8-Hour schedule)
• On-call requirements: 1-2 days per week and rotating weekends
• 16 hours of orientation required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Typically handle up to 6 cases per day
• Work in 3-room interventional radiology department
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoro Permit, CA State License, LA Fire Card (within 30 days)
• Must be proficient in peripherals and kyphoplasty procedures
• Experience with accessing/managing ports, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, carotid stenting, catheter exchanges, central venous access, dialysis graft interventions, embolization, nephrostomy, PACS, and various other interventional procedures
• Must float between all facilities within the state as required
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete pre-start and annual modules (average 16 hours)
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years required
