Trainee Histotech (Lab Technician) . This is a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive, hands-on environment alongside experienced professionals in the field of dermatopathology. As a Trainee, you will gain valuable experience in tissue processing, staining techniques, and lab operations — all while working toward certification as a Histotechnician (HT/HTL) within approximately one year. Assist in tissue specimen preparation (grossing, embedding, microtomy) Learn and perform IHC and special stains under supervision Maintain accurate lab records and follow safety protocols Support lab operations and equipment maintenance Collaborate with
dermatopathologists
and lab team members What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) Strong interest in histology, pathology, or lab sciences Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality Team player with a positive attitude Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform lab setup tasks Preferred (but not required)
Prior lab or healthcare experience Familiarity with lab equipment or EHR/LIS systems At
