Location:

Charleston, SC or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: 1–2 days per week in-office) Compensation:

$75,000 – $200,000+ (based on experience)

The Opportunity We are seeking experienced

Commercial Lines Account Managers

and

Senior Account Managers

to join our Charleston and Charlotte offices. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of

large and complex middle-market to enterprise-level accounts

(average account revenue $25K–$500K+), serving as a trusted advisor to clients while collaborating with producers and internal teams to ensure the highest level of service delivery.

What You’ll Do Manage a portfolio of high-value commercial accounts, including renewals, marketing, and policy administration. Serve as a strategic partner to clients by understanding their needs and recommending tailored coverage solutions. Collaborate with producers and account executives to identify opportunities for growth and client expansion. Build and maintain strong relationships with top insurance carriers. Provide responsive, proactive client service while ensuring accurate documentation in the agency management system.

What We’re Looking For 5+ years of commercial P&C insurance account management experience (middle-market or larger preferred). Proven experience handling

large, complex accounts

($25K–$500K+ average revenue). Active Property & Casualty license required (additional designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM are a plus). Strong technical knowledge of coverages, rating, proposals, billing, endorsements, and certificates. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management systems is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary ($75K–$200K+ depending on level of experience). Early-career Client Manager: $75K–$100K Senior-level with 15–20+ years: $175K–$220K Performance-based incentives.
