About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire an experienced
Human Resources Business Partner . This is a
direct hire
opportunity with a well-established company in the homebuilding industry. The role is based fully onsite and offers the chance to lead key HR initiatives, oversee employee relations, and provide strategic HR support for multiple business units.
Job Description: The HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, supporting all aspects of HR including employee relations, compliance, payroll, benefits, and workforce planning. This position requires a strong HR generalist background, the ability to balance strategic and tactical work, and a proven record of successfully leading HR initiatives in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with managers and employees to improve workplace culture, build morale, and increase retention. Act as a resource on HR policies, training needs, and performance management. Oversee full-cycle benefits, payroll, and compensation programs, including Open Enrollment. Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and terminations. Support recruitment efforts and guide onboarding and offboarding processes. Maintain compliance with employment laws and required reporting (EEO-1, ACA, I-9, 401K audits, etc.). Provide guidance on restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning. Supervise and mentor HR support staff. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure HR practices align with company standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred). SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required
(or HRCI equivalent). 10+ years of HRBP or HR Generalist experience . Proven experience leading
Open Enrollment
and managing full-cycle benefits. Familiarity with
ADP Workforce Now
(preferred). Background in
construction or homebuilding
