$69,000–$73,000/Year Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM Location:
Mount Prospect, IL Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting others? Search Inc. invites you to become a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) working with our Supported Living Program (SLP). This is a rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. About the Role: As a QIDP, you will support individuals across multiple program sites by coordinating services and ensuring high-quality care. You'll play a key role in interdisciplinary collaboration, care planning, documentation, and ensuring that individuals receive the support they need to thrive. On-call responsibilities are part of the role. Responsibilities Administrative / Professional: Uphold the mission and values of Search Inc. Act as a role model by promoting teamwork and problem-solving. Represent Search professionally to families, guardians, community partners, and affiliated agencies. Participate in committees and task forces. Coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings and ensure implementation of service plans. Track and ensure completion of staffing, assessments, and progress reports. Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in systems like Harmony and individual files. Coordinate medical care and follow-up for individuals. Support documentation, incident reporting, and adherence to policies and procedures. Provide on-call coverage on a rotating basis. Follow vehicle safety and maintenance procedures. Complete 12 hours of continuing education annually per DHS guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Individual Interaction: Provide consistent, kind, and responsive support to individuals. Ensure medical needs are met with care and efficiency. Participate in developing and monitoring behavioral plans. Advocate for individuals during appointments and community engagement. Offer supportive counseling and crisis response as needed. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. Meet the DHS requirements for a QIDP in Illinois. Familiarity with DHS Rules and CQL standards. Basic physical capability (lifting up to 44 lbs., ability to kneel, bend, twist, etc.). Proficiency with basic computer applications. CPR and First Aid certification. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Ability to become certified to drive a PACE vanpool vehicle. Benefits We Offer: Paid Time Off:
