Dental Assistant

Position Summary: The Dental Assistant assists in providing quality, caring dentistry, supporting the dentist during clinical procedures, preparing patients and rooms, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and health regulations.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing the clinic for daily activities, including stocking supplies
• Seating patients, reviewing insurance, and collecting demographics and vital signs
• Assisting with patient histories and presenting concerns to the dentist
• Supporting patient comfort and safety, including radiograph procedures
• Performing sterilization and maintaining logs
• Managing supplies and equipment, including inventory and repairs
• Supporting dental lab tasks and maintaining records
• Providing office support such as scheduling and front desk coverage

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with on-the-job or formal training, current BLS/CPR, radiology certification, OSHA and CDC training, and 0-3 years of clinical experience.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform detailed work, handle equipment, lift up to 50 pounds, and work with chemicals and radiation safely.
